HOLA Presents Sones De Mexico

Savannah GA—April 21, 2005—The Hispanic Outreach & Leadership at Armstrong (HOLA) Program presents the Chicago Ensemble Sones De Mexico on May 3 at Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Jenkins Theatre. There will be an Educational Service workshop at noon, followed by an 8 p.m. concert. This event is free and open to the public.

Sones De Mexico has been reviewed by the Chicago Tribune as Chicago’s premier Mexican folk band and holds the title of #1 Regional Mexican Album of 2002. They have collaborated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet in over 20 joint ensemble recitals.

HOLA’s mission includes providing educational, social and academic support services to AASU Hispanic/Latino students as well as sponsoring campus activities that promote Hispanic and Latino heritage.
