Red Ribbon Week: AASU Fights Against Drunk Driving

Savannah, GA—October 25, 2004—In an effort to reduce drunk driving and the tragic loss of life it can cause, Armstrong Atlantic State University will sponsor Red Ribbon Week, October 25-29. Throughout out the week, viewers can see a simulated crash site located between Science Drive and Compass Point that illustrates the week's theme, "Use a Designated Driver." On Tuesday, participants can enter the Sidewalk Art Show from 10-3 p.m. and win cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 for artwork that best illustrates the week's theme. On Thursday, a "Sober Facts" Game Show will begin at 6 p.m. at the Compass Point Club House.
