AASU Welcomes New Student Housing Director

Savannah, GA—February 8, 2005—Armstrong Atlantic State University has named Michael Clements as director of university housing. His duties entail building a housing and residence life program that will positively impact student living and learning opportunities.

With over 15 years of related experience, Clements has served the University of Redlands in California and Austria and the American International School in Salzburg, Austria. His two most recent positions have included managing traditional residence halls and apartments for 2,700 students at Longwood University in Virginia, and for four Central Campus Housing Management student communities in Missouri, Nebraska, and Illinois. Clements holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is currently pursuing his doctor of education in higher education administration at George Washington University in Washington, DC.
