AASU to Host Forum on Legal Topics

SAVANNAH, GA—November 4, 2003—On November 12, Armstrong Atlantic State University will host a two-part lecture on legal topics with John Feldmeier, a former attorney and assistant professor of political science at Wright State University. "Free Speech in the 21st Century" will be followed by "The Legal Profession: Challenges and Obstacles," an open forum geared toward anyone interested in pursuing a law degree. It will begin at 12:15 p.m. in room 158 of University Hall. AASU's Political Science Organization is sponsoring the event. It is free and open to the public.

Feldmeier, J.D., Ph.D., is an assistant professor of political science at Wright State University, in Dayton, Ohio, where he teaches courses in public law. As an attorney with Sirkin, Pinales, Mezibov, & Schwartz, he served as counsel and co-counsel in Supreme Court cases. He also has been published in several law journals. Feldmeier received his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1991 and his Ph.D. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1996.
