High-Achieving
Students Honored at AASU's Awards Convocation
SAVANNAH, GANearly forty high-achieving students were honored during
Armstrong Atlantic State University's annual Awards Convocation on April
17. Among the highlights was a presentation of certificates for students
named to Who's Who Among Students In American Colleges and Universities.
The Joseph A. Buck Award for the Outstanding Senior and the Exchange Club
of Savannah's President's Cup Awards for Outstanding Scholar Athletes
also were presented. The evening concluded with a presentation of AASU's
highest student awards, the "Gold and Silver A's," which recognize
academic achievement and outstanding service to the university. Awards
were also presented to outstanding faculty and staff members.
Representatives from AASU's College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education,
College of Health Professions, School of Computing, and the Student Government
Association presented awards to the following students and faculty member:
