AASU to Host First International Week
Savannah, GA Armstrong Atlantic State University will host its first International Week from April 1-5, featuring international speakers, an artist/cultural gallery exhibition, international student engagements at local schools, and an international evening of food and music. The Georgia House of Representatives passed a resolution commending Armstrong Atlantic for its fine international education programs and conveyed their congratulations and best wishes for its first ever International Week. The resolution said the accomplishments of the university "reflect the special leadership and direction of James Anderson and contribute substantially to Savannah's wonderful reputation as a truly international city that welcomes diversity."
The events are sponsored by AASU's Office of International Education (OIE) and the International Student Organization. OIE organizes study abroad and exchange programs in more than sixty countries in coordination with the University System of Georgia.
