Main Page Contact Francisco Duque, 912.961.3173 For Immediate Release Surgeon to Speak on Lung Cancer(Savannah, GA-November 7, 2006) Surgeon Robert E. Jones, MD, FACS, will present "Update on Lung Cancer," on November 16, from noon to 1 p.m., in University Hall, room 156, on the Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) campus. The presentation, marking the Great American Smokeout Day traditionally observed on the third Thursday in November, is free and open to the public. Jones is a thoracic surgeon with the Memorial Health University Medical Center Physician Heart and Lung Surgery group. AASU's College of Health Professions, the Coastal Health District, and the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial Health University Medical Center sponsor the event.
