Safe Fun in the Sun: AASU Co-sponsors Screening on Sun's Effects

Savannah, GA - May 31, 2006 - Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), Memorial Health, and the Coastal Health District are sponsoring a Fun in the Sun Awareness and Screening on Tybee Island. The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m., Friday, June 2, in Memorial Park.

Dermatologist Rebecca Campen, M.D., will give free skin examinations and provide information and advice about the sun's effects on the skin. No appointment is necessary and refreshments will be served.
