Regional Award Goes to AASU Publication


(Savannah, GA-March 28) The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) presented an Award of Excellence to Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) during the 2007 CASE District III conference in Nashville, TN.

Compass, the university's external newsletter, won in the external tabloids and newsletters category. Competition is open to all colleges and universities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Compass reaches more than 24,000 AASU alumni and friends of the university. The newsletter is produced in the AASU Office of University Relations. Barry Ostrow is the editor and principal writer. The publication is designed by Joan Lehon and photographed by Katherine Arntzen.
