MAT Information Sessions to be Offered in Savannah, Brunswick


(March 3, 2008) Armstrong Atlantic State University's (AASU) College of Education will host four, free information sessions for its master of arts in teaching (MAT) degree program. The sessions will be hosted in Savannah and Brunswick.

Savannah sessions will be offered Wednesday, March 5 and Tuesday March 18 at 4:30 p.m., in Ashmore Hall 119, on the AASU campus, 11935 Abercorn Street.

The Brunswick sessions will be offered Thursday March 6 and Wednesday, March 19 at 5 p.m. in the Brunswick Center's Science Building 262 on the campus of the Coastal Georgia Community College, 3700 Altama Avenue, Brunswick.

Representatives from graduate admissions and financial aid will be available to assist interested students with policies and procedures.

Students interested in attending the Savannah sessions can call the program coordinators for specific program information. For middle grades education call Dr. Patrick Thomas at 912.921-5547. For special education, contact Dr. Lorrie Spencer at 912.921-7328.

Students interested in attending the Brunswick sessions should call Ken Fields at 912. 262-2354.
