Main Page Contact Francisco Duque, 912.961.3173 For Immediate Release Irish Studies Club Presents Free Lecture(March 3, 2008) Armstrong Atlantic State University's (AASU) Irish Studies Club will present a "Sebastian Dangerfield Talk and Coffee Reception" at noon on Tuesday, March 11 in the Ashmore Hall Auditorium on the AASU campus, 11935 Abercorn Street. The event is free and the public is invited. Presenter Frank Clancy, AASU assistant professor of English, is marking the 20th anniversary of hosting Sebastian Dangerfield lectures on campus. The topic of the March 11 lecture is "The Ginger Man's Dublin." Dangerfield is the hero in playwright and author J.P. Donleavy's best-known novel, A Ginger Man. AASU's Irish Studies Club meets periodically for lectures on Irish literature, films, history, and politics. It is open to those in the community interested in Irish culture.
