HOLA Hosts College is Possible!


(March 4, 2008) Hispanic Outreach & Leadership (HOLA) at Armstrong Atlantic State University, in conjunction with The Hispanic Scholarship Fund and Savannah Chatham County Public Schools, will host a "College is Possible!" town hall meeting from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 11 in the Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn Street.

The event is free and open to the public. Students and their parents are encouraged to attend the presentation. Food and refreshments will be served.

A college fair will be held from 6-7 p.m. and a presentation by Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) representatives will be from 7-8:30 p.m.

HSF representatives will provide information about preparing for college, applying to college and financial aid, and scholarship opportunities. The information and handouts will be presented in English and Spanish.
