Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives Hosts Program April 24


(April 17, 2009) The Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives will present a program, "Reinventing Customer Service in Healthcare: Lessons Learned from the Best," from 11:15 a.m., to 2 p.m., Friday, April 24 in the Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn Street.

The cost is $50 for American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) members and $60 for non-members. ACHE has awarded 1.5 credit hours (Category 1) to this program. Registration is due by April 21 to avoid a $5 late fee.

The program will feature moderator Don Avery, president and CEO of Fairview Park Hospital and ACHE governor. Panelists include Col. John Collins, U.S. Army Medical Department activity commander, Fort Stewart/Winn Army Community Hospital; Whip Triplett, North Point Hospitality Group; Penny Horton, director of customer service for Memorial University Medical Center; and Sherry Danello, St. Joseph's/Candler.

This event is being offered as a joint effort with Armstrong Atlantic State University and the Fort Stewart/Winn Army Community Hospital.
