AASU to Host Open House April 1


Savannah, GA-March 17, 2006-The Office of Recruiting at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) will host an Open House on Saturday, April 1. The event is being held for prospective students who are interested in undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. in AASU's University Hall. The public is invited to attend.

"The open house is intended to orient potential students with university life," said Melanie Mirande, director of recruiting at Armstrong Atlantic. Faculty, staff, and students will be on hand with specifics about the many academic programs, admissions, financial aid, scholarships, student life, housing, and other programs and services offered at the university. Campus and housing tours also will be provided.

Armstrong Atlantic offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Health Professions, the College of Education, the School of Computing, and the School of Graduate Studies.
