AASU to Host Overseas Educational Advisors, November 4


Savannah, GA--October 26, 2005--On November 4, a group of overseas educational advisors representing the countries of Dominican Republic, Chad, China, Pakistan, and Bulgaria will visit Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) for a campus tour and to discuss the admissions and international recruitment process with university administrators. The visitors will also sample orientation and other programs available to foreign students.

The overseas advisors will learn more about campus life at AASU when they join international faculty representing China, Peru, Ghana, Jordan, and Kazakhstan, and students representing Ukraine, Burkina Faso (Africa), China, and Monserrat (Carribbean) during a luncheon at Logan's restaurant. The gathering will begin at noon.

The group of overseas advisors are participating in a U.S.-based training program administered by the College Board, and supported financially by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State under the authority of the Fulbright-Hays Act of 1961.
