Savannah, GA—March 2, 2006—High school students who want to expand their knowledge of computer science are invited to attend Armstrong Atlantic State University's (AASU) fourth annual School of Computing Quiz Bowl on March 25. The first ten teachers to register and bring a team will receive $50. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by individual and team tests, and an awards ceremony begins at 11:45 a.m. Pizza will be served at the awards ceremony. The event is free and open to the public.

The quiz bowl will cover introductory level computer science and information technology topics. Many of the questions will come from the following areas: business applications, computer literacy, Boolean algebra, hardware, software, logic, and the Internet.
