AASU Wins Three Addy Awards(Savannah, GA-February 16) Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) won three awards at the Savannah Advertising Federation's annual Addy Awards night on February 9. The university's undergraduate viewbook won a Silver Addy in the collateral material, four-color brochure category. The publication was also awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award, one of the federation's four special Addy Awards. The viewbook is a visual aid that provides information to prospective students on all aspects of the university. Compass Interactive (www.ci.armstrong.edu), the university's broadband channel of streaming video, also won a Silver Addy. Melanie Mirande and Joe Crain, formerly in the Office of Recruiting, wrote the viewbook. It was designed by Anna de la Paz and photographed by Katherine Arntzen in the Office of University Relations. Bruce Habersham, in the Office of Computer and Information Services, produces Compass Interactive. |
