Main Page Contact Francisco Duque, 912.961.3173 For Immediate Release AASU Student Research Symposium April 23(April 14, 2008) Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) students will present the results of creative and scholarly work to their peers and community during the 14th annual Student Research Symposium on Wednesday, April 23. The students' work will be on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Hall Atrium on the AASU campus, 11935 Abercorn Street. The event is free and open to the public. AASU faculty and staff will judge the posters between noon and 1:30 p.m. Poster participants will be present and answer questions from judges at that time. The top five graduate and undergraduate posters will receive monetary awards, ranging between $500 and $50. An awards ceremony will be held at noon, Friday April 25, in University Hall 156, on the AASU campus. The research poster competition features a record number of nearly 70 submitted projects on all aspects of the arts and sciences, education, and health professions. Students completed the research for their projects between summer 2007 and spring 2008. The AASU Faculty Research & Scholarship Committee sponsors the symposium.
