AASU Irish Studies Club Hosts Lecture


(Savannah, GA, March 4, 2007) Jack Simmons, assistant professor of philosophy at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), will give a lecture on "Bishop Berkeley, Ireland's Philosopher," on Friday, April 20. The lecture will begin at noon, in Gamble Hall 103, on the AASU campus, 11935 Abercorn Street.

Phyllis Panhorst, coordinator of faculty information, will play the Irish harp. The event is free and the public is invited.

The Irish Studies Club will present the event. The group meets periodically for lectures on Irish literature, films, history, and politics. The club welcomes everyone who is interested in Irish culture.
