AASU Holds Open House for Liberal and Professional Studies Program

(Savannah, GA - January 3, 2007) Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) will host an open house for its master's degree in Liberal and Professional Studies program on Wednesday, January 31, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in Solms Hall room 207 on the AASU campus, 11935 Abercorn Street in Savannah.

Prospective students will be able to meet on a one-on-one basis with current faculty and students in an informal and relaxed question and answer session. Refreshments will be served.

Armstrong Atlantic's master's degree in Liberal and Professional Studies is designed for working professionals and mature college graduates seeking both professional development and personal enrichment through an innovative and interdisciplinary graduate program.

At the core of the program are four courses that focus on the values, research strategies, communication skills, and critical thinking skills required for personal growth and career advancement. In addition, students elect to follow one of three tracks based on their interests and goals: leadership studies, international studies, or gender and women's studies.
