Campus Traffic Flow Along Abercorn Changing
(May 9, 2008) As part of the Abercorn Street/Arts Drive Intersection improvement project, the Burnett Hall entrance to the Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) campus will be permanently closed starting Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Senior Awarded DAR Scholarship
(May 8, 2008) The Savannah Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has awarded Guy Weaver, a senior majoring in history at Armstrong Atlantic State University, its annual American History Scholarship. The annual $1,200 scholarship is presented to the top American history major at the university in memory of Hazelle B. Tuthill, a former history teacher in the Savannah-Chatham County public schools.

AASU Names Three Jefferson Award Recipients
(May 6, 2008) Armstrong Atlantic State University has announced three local winners of the national Jefferson Awards for Public Service. They are: Chris Nowicki, Student Government Association senator; Patricia Coberly, associate professor and program director of special and adult education; and Chris McCarthy, an instructional technology support specialist in the School of Computing. The three were honored by the university as Jefferson Awards winners for their commitment to volunteerism.

More than $700,000 in Grants Awarded to ETTC Collaborative Schools
(May 2, 2008) The Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC) at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), in collaboration with eight area schools, was recently awarded more than $700,000 in federal grant funds as part of the Title II D Teachers, Teamwork, and Technology Competitive Grants for the fiscal year 2008.

AASU Greek Life Advisor Recognized Nationally
(May 1, 2008) Robin Jones, associate director of student activities and judicial affairs at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), was honored with the Sigma Sigma Sigma Greek Advisor of the Year Award.

AASU to Offer One Day University May 10
(April 16, 2008) Armstrong Atlantic State University's (AASU) Department of Professional and Continuing Education will offer One Day University, a daylong learning experience designed to bring back the thrill of academic discovery to adult learners. The program will be offered Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn Street.

Armstrong Atlantic Gets New Phone Numbers
(April 28, 2008) Armstrong Atlantic State University is changing its telephone numbers as it moves from traditional landlines to an Internet-based telephone service.
