AASU to Host
Statewide Healthcare Workforce Workshop

Savannah, GA—April 11, 2005— The College of Health Professions at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) will host a Healthcare Workforce Workshop on April 21 and 22. The overall goal of the effort will be to recommend a set of strategies for the state of Georgia that will enable it to address healthcare workforce needs for the next decade and provide an optimal healthcare workforce.

The workshop is being hosted by AASU in recognition of Georgia's Intellectual Capital Partnership Program (ICAPP) Health Professions initiative that has provided resources for AASU's health professions programs. ICAPP is a statewide public private partnership that to date is funded with $6.25M state and $6.65M private contributions.
