AASU to Hold Financial Aid Seminar for Nurses


Savannah, GA—Registered nurses who are returning or thinking about returning to college to get their BSN or MSN are invited to a Financial Aid Seminar at Armstrong Atlantic State University. The seminar will focus on general financial aid questions as well as questions focused on the nursing program.

The seminar will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at AASU’s Ashmore Hall Auditorium. The speaker will be Ms. Jackie Lewis from AASU’s Financial Aid Department. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions about thefinancial aid process and nursing department programs. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Armstrong Atlantic is the second largest designated center for health professions education in the state of Georgia. The nursing programs in the Department of Nursing address regional health care needs. Students practice in area health care systems such as Memorial Health University Medical Center and Saint Joseph's/Candler Health System, as well as community many diverse community settings. The nursing programs at Armstrong Atlantic are approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
