Two AASU Students Receive Scholarships from AMBUCS

Savannah, Ga—March 31, 2004—Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) students Melissa Kay Smith, a senior respiratory therapy major, and Lyndsy Park, a graduate physical therapy student, recently received $500 scholarships each from the AMBUCS.

AMBUCS, an organization dedicated to providing assistance to those with disabilities, supports junior and senior college students studying within therapeutic fields by providing scholarships from $500 to $1500. Since 1997,
25 AASU physical therapy majors have received scholarships from either the national or local chapters of the AMBUCS.
