AASU to Host Health Careers Information Day

SAVANNAH, GA—The Joint Council for Nursing and Allied Health will hold the twelfth annual Health Careers Information Day (HCID) at Armstrong Atlantic State University on March 7. The event will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in AASU’s Sports Center.

HCID is being held to stimulate interest in health careers among youths in the Savannah region. Nearly 500 students from the regional high schools will have the opportunity to explore more than thirty different careers and educational programs.

Representatives will be on hand with information on career opportunities in the following professions:

Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Technology, Radiography, Nursing, Medicine, Dental Hygiene, Public Health, Health Administration, Sports Medicine, Nutrition, Behavioral Health, and Rehabilitation
