John McGuthry Named New Director of Computer and Information Services

Savannah, GA—December 5, 2004—John McGuthry has been named director of computer information services and chief information officer at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU). Prior to joining AASU, he served as executive director and chief information officer at Reinhardt College, and as a senior manager in technology related positions in the private sector.

McGuthry earned a bachelor’s degree in physical science from the University of Maryland and a master of science in management of technology from Georgia Tech. He also has graduate training in the business of e-commerce from MIT, satellite communications from George Washington University, and accounting and finance from the University of Maryland.
