Jones Named Assistant Director of Student Activities

Savannah GA—October 29, 2003—Armstrong Atlantic State University announces that Robin Jones has been named assistant director of the Department of Student Activities. In her new role, Jones assists in the development and promotion of a broad range of social and co-curricular programs for the university's 6,600 students and coordinates activities designed for the 600 residential students on campus. She also serves as advisor for the Greek system and is working on bringing additional fraternities and sororities to the university.

Prior to joining the university, Jones served as advising coordinator at Nashville State Community College and academic
services assistant at University of Central Texas. She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Texas in August 1999. Jones is an alumni member of Phi Mu Fraternity and serves on the North Georgia College and State University Alumni Council.
