Appointed Chair of American Nursing Association's Committee on Bylaws
Savannah, GADeanna Cross, assistant dean of Adult Academic Services
and special assistant to the president on minority affairs at Armstrong
Atlantic State University, has been appointed chair of the American
Nurses Association's (ANA) Committee on Bylaws.
Cross has been a member of the Georgia Nurses Association, First District,
since moving to Savannah. She has chaired the association's local bylaws
committee since 1998 and was appointed to the national bylaws committee
in 2001. Cross earned a masters degree in nursing and a doctoral
degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
