Carroll Named Director of Human Resources

Savannah, GA—Rebecca N. Carroll has been named director of human resources at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Carroll will be responsible for recruitment, orientation, and training of all professional faculty and staff. Other duties include the management of multiple benefit plans for the university’s employees and representing the university in administrative hearings, unemployment claims, and record management of such proceedings.

Carroll has served in the registrar and admissions office at AASU for over six years, most recently as associate registrar. She also has held the position of pre-school administrator for Savannah Christian Church and served as the human resource manager for the J.B. White Company. Carroll graduated from Augusta College with a bachelor of business administration and is expected to graduate in december from Armstrong Atlantic with a master of education in adult education.
