Three AASU
Students Received the David Watts Scholar Award Savannah, GADecember 5, 2003The Southeastern Regional Association of Teacher Educators (SRATE) presented three Armstrong Atlantic State University students: Katrina Braggs (early childhood education) Paula Edwards (early childhood education) and Richard Riley (middle and secondary education), with the David Watts Scholar Award for outstanding future educators. The awards were presented during SRATEs fall conference in Savannah. SRATE is an affiliation of the Association of Teacher Educators, an individual membership organization devoted solely to the improvement of teacher education both for school based and post secondary teacher educators. SRATE provides teacher educators with opportunities to increase their knowledge and understanding of the complex processes involved in preparing teachers for the classroom. |
