Irish Studies Club Presents Irish Film Screening

Savannah GA—April 8, 2005—The Irish Studies Club will meet April 21 for a showing of the film Cal, a love story set in Northern Ireland during present troubles. It will begin at 7 p.m. in room 114 of Gamble Hall. Following the screening will be a discussion led by Frank Clancy of Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Literature Department.


The Irish Studies Club at AASU is sponsoring the event. The club meets periodically for lectures on Irish literature, films, history, and politics. It is open to those in the community interested in Irish culture.
