AASU's Irish Studies Club to Host Irish Archaeologist

Savannah, GA—October 22, 2004—Dr. William F. O'Brien, a senior lecturer in the Department of Archeology at National University of Ireland, will make a presentation on "The Sport of Irish Hurling" on Wednesday, November 3. Hosted by the Irish Studies Club at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), the talk will begin at 7 p.m. in Ashmore Hall Auditorium and will be followed by a short film. It is free and open to the public.

AASU's Irish Studies Club meets periodically for lectures on Irish literature, films, history, and politics. It is open to those in the community interested in Irish culture.
