AASU Irish Studies Club to Host Talk on Oscar Wilde

Savannah, GA— January 25, 2005—Thomas "Bubba" Cooksey, professor of literature at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), will be speaking on "The Life and Work of Oscar Wilde" as part of the Richard Ellman Memorial Lecture on February 11. The lecture will begin at noon in room 114 of AASU’s Gamble Hall. It is free and open to the public.

The Irish Studies Club at AASU is sponsoring the event. The club meets periodically for lectures on Irish literature, films, history, and politics. It is open to those in the community interested in Irish culture.
