Cebula Included in Who’s Who in Science and Engineering

Savannah, GA—December 8, 2004—Richard J. Cebula, Shirley and Philip Solomons Eminent Scholar and Professor of Economics at Armstrong Atlantic State University, will be recogonized by inclusion in the eighth edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering, 2004-2005. Inclusion in this volume is based on the number of times one's published research is referenced in the scientific literature.

Recently, Cebula was recognized for his innovative teaching and mentoring as the Teaching Fellow of the Academy of Economics and Finance. Cebula edits three journals and serves on 10 other journal editorial boards. He is the author of over 200 scholarly articles and 17 scholarly books. His work has been referenced in scholarly literature over one thousand times, and he has received over 20 fellowships and grants. He also is listed among the 1,500 major economists over the last three centuries in Who's Who in Economics: A Biographical Dictionary of the Major Economists, 1700-1996. Cebula received his B.A. in Economics from Fordham College, his M.A. in economics from the University of Georgia, and his doctorate in Economics from Georgia State University.
