AASU Professors and Student Publish Paper

Savannah, GA– February 18, 2005—Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) economics professors Richard Cebula and Michael Toma, and undergraduate economics major Will Perry had their paper, "Budget Deficits and Crowding Out," published in the Indian Journal of Economics.

Cebula is a professor of economics as well as the Shirley and Philip Solomons Eminent Scholar. He has received a variety of honors, such as Who’s Who in Economics, which lists the 1,500 major economists of the last three centuries. He has been named the Teaching Fellow of the Academy of Economics and Finance and has published over 20 papers in refereed journals with undergraduate students. Cebula received his Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University.

Toma is an associate professor of economics as well as director of the Center for Regional Analysis at AASU. Toma received his B.S. in Business Economics from Miami University, his M.A. in Economics from Miami University, and his Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University.
