Hizer Named AASU's Interim Department Head of Chemistry Savannah, GA—September 30, 2004—Todd Hizer has been named interim head of the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Armstrong Atlantic State University. A member of the faculty for over 15 years, Hizer is a long-standing organizer of the Savannah Science Seminar and the Savannah-Ogeechee Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Hizer earned a B.S. in chemistry from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
