Zaphon Wilson Named Department Head at AASU

Savannah, GA—July 22, 2004—Zaphon Wilson has been appointed head of the Department of Criminal Justice, Social & Political Science at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU). Prior to joining AASU, Wilson held similar administrative posts at Savannah State University and several other universities in North Carolina and Virginia.

Wilson is active in several political science and public administration organizations, including membership on the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration committee on program standards. Wilson earned his BA and MA from Appalachian State University and a Ph.D. from The Atlanta University.
