AASU Economics Students Present Study to
CSX Intermodal Executives

Savannah, GA— July 15, 2004—Two teams of economics students from Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) recently traveled to Jacksonville, FL, to present their studies on a significant labor and profit issue facing CSX Intermodal, Inc. The students were selected from Rick McGrath's economics of labor class for their outstanding papers.

The first group, George Benners, Charlene Hamilton and Gregory Taylor, presented "CSX Labor Issues." The second group, Fitz Haile, Tiffany Wernz and Chris Hamilton, presented their paper, "CSX Profitability Study."

The teams presented their finding to a panel of CSX executives. After the panel reviewed their work, CSX’s Dale Lewis, an AASU graduate, gave the students a tour of his operation.
