AASU’s Cebula Receives Teaching Fellow Award

Savannah, GA—June 10 , 2004—The Academy of Economics and Finance has named Richard Cebula, Shirley and Philip Solomons Eminent Scholar in Economics and professor at Armstrong Atlantic State University, the Teaching Fellow of the Academy of Economics and Finance. Cebula will receive a plaque at the International Society of Academics in Economics and Finance Conference.

A member of the executive committee for the Academy of Economics and Finance, Cebula has received a variety of honors, such as Who’s Who in Science and Engineering for three consecutive years. Cebula holds prestigious editorships with over ten national and international economic and finance publications. He has appeared in over 150 scholarly books and journals and received over 20 fellowships and grants. Cebula received his B.A. in Economics from Fordham College, his M.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia, and his Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University.
