Freedom Shrine Rededication at AASU

Savannah, GA—April 19, 2004—The Savannah Exchange Club will rededicate the Freedom Shrine—a memorial featuring over 20 famous American freedom documents such as the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and Martin Luther King, Jr.’s I Have a Dream speech—at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) on April 21. The rededication marks the arrival of additional freedom documents to the shrine as well as its relocation from Victory Hall to University Hall on the AASU campus. The event will begin at 12:30 p.m the atrium of University Hall.

The Savannah Exchange Club, founded in 1926, acts as the local chapter of the National Exchange Club. They promote national pride by remembering those who have affected our nation’s history though sacrifice and leadership.
