AASU to Host Poet Kim Addonizio January 30

Addonizio, author of three collections of poetry: The Piliosopher's
Club, Jimmy and Rita, and Tell Me, will give a talk at Armstrong
Atlantic State University on January 30. It will begin at 1:15 P.M.
in room 1402 of AASU's Science Center.
Addonizio is an associate faculty member in the Master of Fine Arts
distance learning program at Goddard College in Vermont. She conducts
private workshops in San Francisco, where she lives.
Addonizio's talk will be given as part of Armstrong Atlantic's Visiting
Writer Series, which is sponsored by the university's Department of
Languages, Literature, and Philosophy and the Campus Union Board. The
series is held each year in an ongoing effort to expose the community
to outstanding writers and scholars.
