High School Math Tournament at AASU

SAVANNAH, GA—Armstrong Atlantic State University will holds its twenty-fourth annual High School Math Tournament on Saturday, February 2. More than 300 students from thirty high schools in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama are expected to participate.

The tournament stimulates a more challenging and competitive interest in math among high-achieving math students from the local high schools. The finest math students from each state will participate in the two-part competition. Individual and team winners will be announced during the awards ceremony.

Armstrong Atlantic's mathematics and computer science departments as well as students, staff, and faculty from several other departments jointly sponsor the tournament.
