Fifth Annual Symposium on the Irish Diaspora

Savannah, GA– Armstrong Atlantic State University will present the Fifth Annual Symposium on the Irish Diaspora on Thursday, February 14. David Heisser, reference librarian at the Citadel, will present "Bishop Patrick Lynch: Irish-American Leader and Southern Partisan." The event will begin at 7:30 PM in room 156 of AASU's University Hall. The symposium is free and open to the public.

The symposium will conclude with presentations by panelists David Gleeson, professor of history at AASU, and Brendan Buttimer, a graduate of AASU's master's program in history. The symposium is being presented by the Department of History at Armstrong Atlantic.
