Celebrate AASU Day October 6

Savannah, GA—September 30, 2004— Human Bowling, the Velcro Wall, and the Bungee Run are just a few of the games being offered during the ninth annual Celebrate AASU Day on October 6. Come enjoy these and other games, live music, body painting, and free hotdogs and Cokes from 11:50 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the academic quadrangle at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

Beginning at noon, visitors can use chalk to leave their personal mark during the Sidewalk Art Competition. They also can sit for caricatures or portraits, make postcards from Savannah, and many other activities. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day, such as sword fighting, juggling, improvisation, a performance of Little Shop of Horrors, and other musical events. At 1:45 p.m., the old favorite booth awards, such as Most Creative, Most Enthusiastic, Most Original, and the Best All Around will be handed out. From 2-6 p.m., Children will have a blast having their faces painted and watching performers make animal shapes out of balloons.
