AASU to Offer Campus Preview June 11

Savannah, GA—May 24, 2004—Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) will host a Campus Preview on June 11 for prospective students who are new to college, reentry students, or transfer students. Men and women whose academic goals were deferred for reasons of work, family, or other commitments are encouraged to attend to learn more about the university's flexible class scheduling. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in AASU's Victor Hall.

The preview is intended to "orient potential students with university life," said Melanie Mirande, director of recruiting at Armstrong Atlantic. Faculty, staff, and students will be on hand with specifics about the various degrees, admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and other programs offered by the university. Campus and residence community tours also will be provided.

Armstrong Atlantic offers undergraduate degrees and certificates from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Health Professions, the College of Education, and the School of Computing, and graduate degrees and certificates from the School of Graduate Studies.
