AASU Hosts the Savannah-Ogeechee Regional Science and Engineering Fair

Savannah, GA—April 12, 2004—Brothers Thomas and John Marshall, who attend Statesboro High School, were selected as the winners of the Savannah-Ogeechee Regional Science and Engineering Fair held at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

The Marshall brothers will present their winning projects, "Culex erraticus Mosquitoes as Over-Wintering Agents of West Nile" and "Comparison of Tooth Whitening Methods Using Grayscale Technique Phase II," at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair in Athens and the International Science and Engineering Fair in Portland, Oregan.

This year, a total of forty-two projects were chosen to represent our region at the state fair in Athens. Participating in the fair were 225 students from 35 middle and high schools in Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, Bryan, Long, and Bulloch counties.
