AASU to Offer Campus Open House

Savannah, GA–The Office of Recruitment at Armstrong Atlantic State University will host a Campus Open House on Saturday, February 2. The event is being held for prospective students who are new to college or are reentry students. It will be held from 10:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. in AASU's University Hall. The public is invited to attend.

The open house is intended to "orient potential students with university life," said Melanie Mirande, assistant director of recruiting at Armstrong Atlantic. Professors will be on hand with specifics about the various degrees, financial aid, scholarships, study abroad, and other programs offered by the university. Campus tours also will be provided.

Men and women whose academic goals were deferred or interrupted for reasons of work, family, or other commitments are encouraged to attend to learn more about what the university has to offer in the way of flexible class scheduling.

Armstrong Atlantic offers undergraduate degrees from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Health Professions, and the College of Education and undergraduate degrees from the School of Graduate Studies. Nearly 6,000 students and 250 faculty members are currently a part of the university.
