AASU Professors Selected to Attend Lilly South Conference

Savannah, GA–Three Armstrong Atlantic State University professors, Hassan Aziz (Medical Technology), Lester Hardegree (Medical Technology), and Nancy Remler (English), were selected to attend the eighth annual Lilly South Conference on College & University Teaching held at the University of Georgia.

Aziz and Hardegree presented "Web Pages: Educating Students & Promoting Profession," and Remler presented "Starting Conversations: Promoting and Facilitating Campuswide Scholarship of Teaching." Remler's presentation informed attendees about the scholarship of teaching at AASU and explored other ways of initiating such efforts at institutions of higher learning.

Lilly conferences provide a scholarly forum for faculty and administrators from all around the world to discuss all areas affecting college/university teaching and learning. They also provide the opportunity to share proven, innovative pedagogies and thoughtful insights about teaching. Attendees presented papers and attended workshops and seminars.
